Land of Green Ginger is the name of a street, formerly known as Old Beverley-street, in the old town area of Kingston-upon-Hull. Green ginger is the name used to describe ginger cured with lemon juice. We chose the name because of its associations with the city: it's a name that people from Hull, wherever they are in the world, will recognise as being a link to home. We hope we can do them justice.
